Coventry City Council sponsorship program Print E-mail

Based on Civil Contingency Act 2004, all local authorities in the UK have an obligation to provide advice and assistance to voluntary and private sector businesses in their jurisdiction about business continuity.

Local authorities are now encouraging their local businesses to develop and maintain business continuity plans for recovering from any business interruption. Business continuity plans can protect local businesses and safeguard local jobs.

Based on this obligation, Coventry City Council has sponsored the "Core Principles of Business Continuity Management".
Under this sponsorship scheme all private sector businesses and voluntary organizations based in Coventry can have free access to this course.

To qualify:

  • you need to be a registered business or charity,
  • you need to have a business address in Coventry.

If you satisfy these two conditions, you will get free access for four employees to participate in the "The Core Principles of Business Continuity Management", plus "virtual class" functionality to manage the participants.

To take advantage of this sponsorship you need the last 10 digits of your Property Code (Rate Reference Number) as found on your "Non-Domestic Rates Bill" issued by Coventry City Council rates department. This code can be used as a promotion code at the checkout. By entering your property code in the promotion code field at the checkout you will receive a 100% discount getting free access to the course.
